Who Was The ONLY Jedi General Grievous Respected?

Показать описание
General Grievous held a great deal of hatred for the Jedi Order, holding them responsible for the death of many of his people. He had vowed to rival the Jedi in terms of power, despite his lack of force sensitivity, seeing himself as a kind of underdog who used his overwhelming cybernetic power and fear to defeat his foes. However, one Jedi, despite her obvious inferiority to Grievous failed to give in to Grieouses fear tactics, showing remarkable bravery. Named Bink, she managed to deal with grievous several blows during the battle of Coruscant. Grievous would eventually defeat her, impaling her through the heart. But in a rare act, he showed respect for her dead body whilst taking her lightsaber, showing his reverence for underdogs who showed bravery in the face of overwhelming odds.

Respect to B’ink for her courage while facing Greivous, who many Jedi were afraid of and who eliminated many Jedi, adding their lightsabers to his collection

For those who wonder, B'ink appears in the "Labyrinth of Evil" novel, where her duel with Grievous occurs. She appears in "The Clone Wars: Defenders of the Lost Temple" comic, in which she and a group of clones visit an ancient temple owned millenia ago by Lucien Dray, a villain of the iconic KOTOR comics

Ezra: "I'm not afraid of you!"

Vader: "Then you will die, braver than most."

Imagine if Grievous were written like a hero of the separatists with a chivalric battle code instead of a cackling saturday morning cartoon villain who loses every fight

He respected obiwan, windu & b’ink but for very different reasons. Obiwan & windu he respected due to their dueling abilities & the fact they actually posed a real threat to him. And he respected b’ink due to her standing her ground in the face of overwhelming odds showing him her bravery even if she knew she was outmatched

You ever noticed how Anakin became a combination of the three villains of the prequels? A Sith (Maul), a fallen Jedi (Dooku), a Cyborg (Grievous)

“Rival the Jedi in terms of power.”

2003 (Clone Wars) Grievous: I killed 4 Jedi Masters, and a Jedi Knight in one location, and held off 6 of the Jedi Masters at once with only two lightsabers, killing all but three of them, but nearly succeeding. (The scene had 8 total Jedi. Daakman Barreck, the first to die; distress signs/hologram Jedi, his Padawan, nicknamed by many as Jedi Shaggy; Sha’a Gi, was crushed. K’Kruhk “died” during the battle against Grievous, being rendered unconscious and thought to be deceased; he lived, but in this case, we will count him dead as he doesn’t appear later in the clone wars 2003 mini series, and the abdomen slash should have been fatal, he went into hibernating to heal his wounds. Tarr Sierr died upon getting his head crushed by Grievous. Shaak Ti, Ayala Secura, and Ki-Adi Mundi, and if you count him, K’Kruhk, are the only survivors of the slaughter.

2005 (ROTS) Grievous and 2008 (Clone Wars) Grievous: I can’t defeat Jedi Masters one on one without help anymore.

Just a note; I’ve seen ROTS, the 2003 Clone wars, and I’m nearly done the 2008 series. I’ve also watched the clone wars movie.

I thought it would be Anakin because grevious said in revenge of the sith: "I expected someone with your reputation to be a little older"

Bro learned to put respect on Windu's name too. Even if he has to cough it out.

Her lightsaber still made a fine addition to his collection

Respecting her for her bravery is an… interesting look at their fight. Grievous had already killed the rest of her posse, before allowing her to deal several glancing blows to his arms to embolden her. Her newfound boldness was short-lived, as she quickly realized that he was just playing around, and he stabbed her shortly after.

Dude was just giving her a hope spot to make crushing her that much more entertaining.

Grievous Then: Able to strike fear into the Jedi of all ranks. Make Battle Droids into one of the most capable fighting forces against clones to one of the greatest Bounty Hunters. No Force Sensitvity? No problem to him. A Fine addition to our collection.

Grievous Now: Making Gungans more effective than any elite force. Padawan or Youngling level.

Come on Disney.
