Saniderm Tattoo Aftercare!

Here are a couple pointers on using a breathable waterproof tattoo bandage. This bandage saves you the hassle of washing and applying ointment several times a day. Post questions below!

Good tip with an ice pack on the tattoo. My tattoo was warm to the touch for a couple of days but I was not experiencing any redness or anything like that. It was just very warm.

I started using saniderm and honestly I love it although depending on the area it’s hard to put on with one hand and is a hassle and I’ve never had fluid build up inside of it like I’ve seen other peoples do

I got my tattoo on a Saturday and applied Saniderm. Kept it on until the following Wednesday (4 days). All oozing was done and tattoo is nice and flush against the skin. No tenderness or itchy and it’s healing nicely and it’s starting to flake as expected. I lap swim so I applied saniderm and got in the pool (day 9). At the end of the hour I noticed the saniderm was halfway off. I cleaned it and lightly applied A&D ointment. Should I be concerned?

What do you do after the whole saniderm is done? Moisturize the tattoo afterwords?

I got a hand tattoo (line work) that runs down 2 fingers. I took the next day off. Now on day 2, and it’s getting close to exposing part. I work in pest control, so I need to wear nitrile gloves. I have some off brand saniderm coming later today. Should I keep it on until I have to wash and lotion? Or should I go ahead and do that, and then reapply when I get home this evening?

Aren’t you suppose to put light cream on the tattoo after you wash and air dry.

There's blood built under my saniderm. Is it OK to leave for 4-5 days?

Mine came off and I don’t have a spare soo I just been using that lotion and cleaning it

I’m using this today for the tattoo I’m getting. I can still shower with it on right? I’m in and out in no time so it won’t be submerged but it will get wet. I get dirty at work so I shower daily

Mines begin leaking after about 2 1/2 days I just cleaned it . Should I put a new one on or just moisturize it ?

After i took off the tape it was really sticky i washed it really hood with antibacterial soap and now putting ointment is that cool? New subscrbier by the way!

Hey! I have a Tatto this weekend and apply saniderm, I read if you have an ink sack you have to remove that after 8 or 24 hours, and again, put a second for the rest of the week, it's that ok? thanks you helping me!
