FALLOUT TV SHOW: FIRST SEASON - Speculation and Opinion

With the announcement of the upcoming Fallout TV Show, and subsequent photo leaks, I wanted to share my opinion and speculate how I think the first season will go. Again this is just speculation, and I don't have any insider information about the show's script. I hope you enjoy!

After that Paramount Plus Halo TV show I'm so worried about other video game adaptations. 😅😅😅

We talked about this in Red's chat and I agree with his hopes for the show. It'd be nice if they make the show more of an anthology series. Along the lines of a Game of Thrones or Walking Dead, but more modular, made up of many smaller stories of different survivors and wanderers throughout the series. Even locations. Like three to four episodes per character and slowly build the world in smaller pieces, perhaps even to something much larger. ~ The Kage has spoken

There's no reason to expect the show's lore to match the games' in every detail. As long as the lore is _broadly_ the same; as long as the look and feel are kept, they could put Vault 32 anywhere in the US and I wouldn't care.
Also, _Variety_ reports that they sent out a call for stuntmen for some initial scenes. From the description, I think it involves Raiders attacking the Vault. That would be a great way to start off the series; finding out the hard way that there are hostile outside survivors would give them a reason to send someone out to explore.
As for Goggins' character, he'd be great for flashback stories that would establish background lore. In fact, some of the regular cast could be prewar friends and family he knew back in the day.

I think Walter Goggins character Will play a crucial part in connecting pre-war to post war and I think it would be great if they had a faction like the enclave to connect it to. I think his character will be in postwar New York and then we will see the bombs go off he’ll turn into ghoul and then they’ll be a time jump to 200 years later that’s when it will cut to vault 32 at that time when we cut to it the vault will be opening up in some of the main characters from the vault will walk up like a mountain or hill or something and see the lights of vegas

I'm hoping that the show will start with the bombs falling then have a time gap of about 50-100 or maybe even 200 years

Adding a bit to the speculation, Walter Goggins has already been confirmed to be cast, and being the only confirmed cast member makes me think he's playing either the protagonist or the main antagonist. And damn, is that man known for playing psychos! Could fit with the raider idea nicely, or could be an officious power hungry overseer. Of course this could also be one of those times he's not playing a psycho, but just rough.

While the set pics do look AWESOME... I'm cautiously optimistic about the series. We'll see I suppose... 🍕🌮

My only concern is how they are going to play this over seasons. Considering that an average gameplay of Fallout 4 to get everything can be hundreds of hours, and the speed-run is a little over two, is this going to be a one season one-off or is this going to have a multi-season plan? As for "The War", I expect they will cover it the same way the game does, very briefly at the beginning. That it is to say, I'd be expecting it in the first 15 minutes or I'd probably get bored and turn it off.
