These new enemies are pretty cool too. They don't just stand there while you kill them, unlike the ones in the combat trailer

This looks A LOT better than than the first trailer ever did.

For sure looks a whole lot smoother and refined when it come to some of the animations. Combat mechanics look like they'll be pretty solid. Still the problem of massively distracting Pop-In for some assets due to short draw distance. But you definitely should have showcased something like this FIRST absolutely!

Really hope they release the demo for consoles. This definitely looks promising.

Also hope we get a story trailer soon. I'm really curious about the story since Ian Flynn's writing it.

I love how they showed a few of the same things from the gameplay reveal just done in a new, more exciting way.

We've also learned from NintendoLife that the game will include different styles: Action and High Speed. The sluggish pace could've also been the Action style. High Speed Style is better for Sonic veterans apparently.

It looks kinda better, but theres three crucial things, TO ME, that have to be implemented/improved.
More decorations on the landscapes and gameplay objects/structures, more vibrant colors (saturation of the color pallet)…
And most importantly, some good OST in the background to make the game more exciting.
Especially in a Sonic game, a franchise that is well renowned for having great songs.

1:27 I love that they added a particle effect for where you run/fight the enemies. Like here. You defeat it in the flowers? Flower particles. Such a nice detail.
2:07 and the water effects here too! very pretty and realistic

I just love the vibe of frontiers, a game where you don't know where you are or who you are or even why you're even here. You just know that you have to try and gain back your memories and save your friends from the darkness unknown. You will traverse through many islands gaining knowledge, and answers to the mystery surrounding the legend of the starfall islands and finding out how to save your friends with a mere AI voice guiding you through your journey. You will run through large hills and dense forests with top notch accelerating speeds exploring the secrets of the island and fighting enemies which stand in your way. Save them Sonic, before whatever it is, gets to you first.

They have improved a bunch more than what we saw last time. I imagine if people saw this trailer first hype would be more frequent.
60fps, enemies that put up more of a challenge, better emphasis on speed and so on.
Still a bit to improve upon, like how much automation is present in the game, but we still have roughly 5 months or so till the game comes out.
Hopefully they can turn fans opinions around on this one.

I do like the enemy designs. They are very different from the standard badniks Eggman has made. I wanna know more about these starfall islands what these things are too. These guys werent made by Eggman for sure. Ian Flynn is involved and it shows as he would come up with something like this.
