Yeah if the epoxy is cracking like that, A: it’s overheated because you poured it wayy too thick, you have to use the right epoxy for basting like this, and B: because it’s overheated and cracked it’s probably lost a lot of it’s structural integrity and unless you fully break it and glue the pieces back together properly, and C: adding the vaseline to the wood mould will likely severely compromise the bond and cause them to separate if you’re trying to keep them together
