I've a 3 volt inverter for my 2.3 mm el wire, but the glow is very less, if i use a 9 volt adapter or 12 volt adapter will it glow more or same?

Hi, is it possible to connect the el wire directly on the cars interior lightning?? Connecting it directly to for example the cars window button regulator, so when it lights up at night the el wire should light also??

What, this is a freaking awful video. If I had no knowledge about EL wires and EL inverters, I would end up more confused with the bad video.

Okay so I have an idea to make a really cool lamp out of an old CO2 laser tube, i have a pretty small diameter of glass tube to put lights through but fortunately its open on either side, any suggestions as to what spurce of lighting i should use. I want to plug this into the wall, and since it is south Africa we run 220v to 240v from the mains.
