Justin is the best. He has NO Ego, and everything just feels like it’s being taught with love. Not to mention it’s never rushed, steady and precise lessons. This is a wonderful channel

Over the many years I listened to you, I had forgotten how much that your lessons meant to me. I found you and fell in love with the guitar. I'm seventy three now and struggling to still stay alive with compromised health but still have my desire to learn as my hands are all but totally crippled. I have given thought to moving to the slide. I really missed you Justin and think that your probably one of the greatest players in the world.

As an intermediate player, it feel nice to watch beginner lessons sometimes. It just shows how far I have reached on my guitar journey.

I’ve been playing guitar for 25 years. Every now and then I like to come back and refresh on the basics. I wish we had these videos when I was younger. If only people knew the hell we went through to get guitar lessons. What an amazing time to be alive.

Really can't thank you enough bud, i've been practicing for maybe 2 weeks now and things are starting to come together! You cut away the Intimidation Factor and remind us it's Daily Steps towards the Larger Practice. Thank you so much!

I remember when I wanted to learn old man by Neil Young but couldn't figure it out or find any lessons. Justin came out with a lesson on that song and I know the song to this day. He also taught me harvest, needle and the damage done and out on the weekend all while clearly teaching the little nuances Neil Young used in those songs, which were hard to grasp by ear for me at that time.. Getting back into guitar starting with the basics. Thank you Justin!

I learned to play the A chord the traditional way. A friend of mine who is awesome at guitare showed me the way Justin plays it. Took me about 2 weeks to finally get it, but it's worth it. Transitions are so much easier and its not as crowded in the fret. Well worth the effort to change!

By far the best and simplest way to learn chords and not intimidating to learn from the way you described them.Great lesson for beginners or a refresh. Thanks so much

Thank you so much for all your videos Justin.  They're all really helpful. It's been just under two weeks since I first picked up my acoustic guitar.  I'm doing OK mastering the CAGED (+AGED minor) chords and trying to strum the G, Em, C, D chord progression as smoothly as possible.   This week I have also made a start on bar chords (oddly I've found C minor easier than the F major that everybody says I should start with).  Obviously I'm still working on all aforementioned but what is my next step? What goal should I be setting myself next? Ultimately, jazz and R&B is where I want to be but I know that's a long way off.  What's the next logical step from what I'm currently doing to get me incrementally closer to where I want to be?
