I knew the Leafs were missing Brodie badly. First game back and they limit the opposing team to one goal. Great bounce back from Sammy, first goal for Morgan, and Captain's 1000th game. Nice win.

Real good win.Engvall could have had a hat trick if he got his shots on goal.But he did score a good goal that was very important in the overall outcome.

Can I just say the commentators for Washington are very good at giving props based off just good hockey plays. For example talking about Holmberg's pass just shows the class of the commentators and their appreciation for hockey.

Samsonov is our Dark Horse I just pray he stays healthy and the D line stay healthy and solid as well. Just need Matthews and Murray healthy for playoffs and I think the first round curse is done this year!
