This album is really interesting. It may not beat out UV6 for me, but compared to then, plenty of artists and tracks have risen to insane levels of sound design. There's something to look forward to in just about every track, whether it's the magical feel of Xilent, the roaring basses of Pixel Terror, the tasty, fulfilling crunches of Habstrakt and Tony Romera, or the pure synth-laden heaven of Slippy. Absolutely one of the best compilations on the label, and as unfitting as it is (come on, this is the same album with stuff like Soda and Solace), the artwork is by all means the most detailed out of the Uncaged era. More than ever before, I can't wait for Vol. 8!

I gotta say though, I feel like this is clearly yet the BEST Recommendation of an Uncaged Album mix to show up right here whenever I re-listen to any Monstercat stuff from like 7.5 years ago (such as 018 Frontier Album & Best of 2014 mix), it even creates a lot of excitement & amazing feeling into me! :D

I waited for this album for a long time it is finally here! In my opinion this is the BEST UNCAGED ALBUM OF ALL TIME! First of all the return of F.O.O.L, the return of Xilent, and the return of Snavs. New artist like Habstrakt, TheFatRat, and ShockOne, and so much more epic tracks. What is not to love with this album?

I was sad that Monstercat Podcast was taken down and you could only listen to live podcasts on Facbook but now I'm used to this huge chunk of well crafted albums. During the school year I was super up to date with Monstercat. I would always listen to their new tracks when I was doing homework and all. This summer I just kind of stopped being so obsessed with them so when I saw the Volume 7 was already out I got super super hype.
