With at least 1 in 2 American children diagnosed with a chronic illness, they are the canaries in the coalmine of national health. We do not accept the “new normal” of sick children any more than we accept the demise of fish in our oceans or the loss of biodiversity in our rain forests. Our greatest hope to reverse this devastating trend is to revolutionize how we think about our health and the human relationship with the planet. The Documenting Hope Project is a solutions-oriented science and media initiative poised to inspire parents, physicians and the public to make the necessary changes that will foster health for our children and our planet.

Beth Lambert has monitored and documented the escalating rates of childhood chronic conditions for nearly a decade. Her book, A Compromised Generation, provides a thorough analysis of the origins of this modern health crisis and documents how modifications to environmental and lifestyle factors can profoundly influence health outcomes, including full disease reversal.

Beth is the founder and Executive Director of Epidemic Answers, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to reestablishing vibrant health in our children. She is also the creator and Executive Producer of The Documenting Hope Project, a multi-year prospective research study and media project that examines the cumulative impact of environmental stressors on health and their mitigation through personalized and systems-based treatment approaches. Beth is the mother of three children and is passionate about raising awareness about the connection between daily choices, human health, and planetary health.

The nutrients in soil are being depleted, but highly refined and fabricated food products high in simple sugars, salt and saturated & trans fats are considerably more impoverished than any fruit, grain or vegetable grown in the most barren soils. The increase consumption of meat, eggs and dairy isn't doing our collective health any favors either.

I agree that antibiotics are a "double edged sword". It reminds me of a line from the movie, "Inherit The Wind".
"Yes, you can have the convenience of the telephone, but you'll lose the charm of distance". I keep that line in mind, when ever I'm considering letting a new technology into my life.

Why do you people have a fear of eggs? Do research and stop being afraid of foods God gave us.
