Incredible: How Hard Was A Mate In 3 Fischer Failed To Solve?

This has to be a really tough cookie to crack. A checkmate in 3 problem presented to Bobby Fischer back in 1968 by Benko with Bobby Fischer losing a bet by not being able to solve it must have been the biggest news at the time. Though it looks like a piece of cake, how hard is it really to solve a move checkmate puzzle. Have a go at it yourself. Can you do better and can you solve this puzzle in less than 30 minutes?
