Hi Adam! Really great video 🔥 probably the best and most straightforward I've found on this topic on YouTube. I have a question, i only want my video to show up when people search for specific keywords on youtube. I do NOT want them to show up as placements next to other videos. To do this, can i just put in a few specific keywords and leave the placements options blank?

Great Vid!! Quick question - I thought for CPV, you only get charged if someone watches your video for more than 30 seconds (or if your video is less than 30 secs, then you will get charged no matter what). And the other thing that will make you pay will be if the user takes a secondary action (like click on your CTA button). But you mentioned that you will get charged the moment the person clicks on your discovery ad and it won't matter if they watched 1 sec or the whole thing. Which on is correct??

Hi Adam! Since you are running a discovery ad with a live video, does it hurt your watch time score? Or should we run a discovery on a unlisted video to not hurt organic watch time?

Also my last question is I set up a discovery campaign at $20 a day for 3 unlisted videos at .10 cpv but have only seen a few views come in. Do you know why it hasn’t been running fully?

I used one placement per each ad group with each YouTube channel being between 330k to 1.4mil subscriber audience size.

Thanks so much for the walkthrough! Quick question on the actual video used for the ad. I’m seeing recommended specifications online (e.g. 1GB max, 640x360px resolution), but then I see people with 10 minute-long ads which I would imagine would be hard to keep under 1GB. If I have an existing video I’d like to promote that’s in 4K resolution and about 10 minutes long, would this be possible? Or would I need to create a whole new video matching the published specifications? Put another way, is the video you link as your discovery ad 640x360px and under 1GB? This is probably a silly question, but I’m having trouble getting definitive answers. Thank you!
