I can honestly say that your channel was so helpful in getting me to the kitchen I have today (finished in April). All planned, assembled, installed, and finished ourselves! Was it easy? No. Was it Fun? Also, no. But it was all worth it in the end. Having a functional kitchen will always be worth it. I found an RTA cabinet company that offered cabinet sizes down to the 1/8 of an inch. Really made the difference in creating a truly custom space that fits my house. And no corner cabinets!

Thank you so much for doing the drawings & 3D for my kitchen. We had someone who started some basic drawings, but were incorrect. Yours helped my designer and I to see things in real time during our Zoom call with you, as the placement of things may sound good, but once we saw them in 3D they tuned it into reality.
Your professional experience guided me with some details I wouldn’t have known about. No measurement mistakes now. All of your measurements will be double and triple checked as well. So far they are all spot on! 😃

We saved our contractor a ton of $ by checking measurements twice. The framing on our exterior wall was uncorrected installed ... out by 4 inches! The framer wouldn't listen to us even though we showed him the plans. We contacted the contractor to explain that the lower cabinets would be extending into the doorway by 3 inches. If we didn't check the measurements, the drywall would have been installed, plastered, and painted before the cabinets would have been in place to see that the work would have to be demo'd. Lesson learned was to be involved in the whole process - the contractor trusted their employee however, they really weren't completing their task correctly.

Moved into a place that had fully custom cabinets. Great I thought, I can put them in the barn for my work area as the style was not for me.
Well, when taking them down, they literally fell apart as I unscrewed them off the walls. They ended up in the burn pile.

Ended up getting IKEA cabinets because I found your channel.

@16:05 mark the open shelves with the wine glasses would give me anxiety. I could not imagine having anything as bright and delicate as wine glasses up there getting all greasy and dirty. And what is with the couch inches away from the cabinets?

I knew I had found the right designer when she measured all of our small appliances and large pots and asked us where we would prefer to have them. She also measured my cookbooks to be sure the large-format ones would fit on the bookshelves I wanted over my kitchen desk.
