I spent a lot of summers at my grandparents cottage at a lake in NB and just love the sound of the loons that nested there. There would generally only be one nesting pair due to the size of the lake but they called a lot.
I was kind of odd compared to others around the lake because I would be up early in the morning, and would often get to see the loons swimming in close to shore out front of the cottage (before too many people were up making noise.
Thanks for the relaxing short video. Was there a Heron in that sound track too?
