Joh. 3:3 "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

One must be born again (from above) to be able to see things pertaining to the kingdom. In order to be born from above you have to receive the word that came down out of heaven. The New Testament is the covenant we have. There is no other covenant.

Many Judaizers want to drag you back under the old covenant. But we are to minister under the new covenant.

2 Co. 3:6 "who also made us sufficient as ministers of a new covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life."

God gave us His spirit so we may walk in the spirit. Many have rejected being filled in the spirit so they are not able to see the spiritual aspects of what is being revealed. There is a veil over their eyes.

2 Co. 3:13 "and are not as Moses, who put a veil upon his face, that the children of Israel should not look stedfastly on the end of that which was passing away: 14 but their minds were hardened: for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remaineth, it not being revealed to them that it is done away in Christ."

The New Testament is the fulfillment of the Old Testament. Jesus said not a jot or a tittle will pass away from the law until it's fulfilled.
