Hey guys, thanks for checking out the new episode of Coin Quest: Nickels! This is the second to last box that I have before I am completely out due to the coin shortage so please enjoy it while you can! At 28:05 in this video, I talk about my plans for the future seeing as we now live in a world where coins are harder than ever to obtain. I am excited to share with you my new series idea and am looking forward to premiering it next week! Thanks everybody for watching and happy hunting!

I hunted a box of Canadian nickels and Canadian dimes, in my nickels I found 15 young head and 1 KG VI (1939). In my dime box, I found 1 1966 80% silver and a 1968 50% silver. And trust me, they are hard to find the 68 silvers. Out of 20 1968, only 1 was a silver.

Had a good week with nickels at work last week. Landed a 1942 S war nickel and a 1939 S keydate.

Yes. I keep all 2009 nickels...I just try to use water...and maybe a rag. Any kind of cleaner will hurt the value of any numismatic coin ..use only plain water on coins..

I agree roll searching is fun. However, I do not get excited by coins from the 60's or 50's. I prefer searching half dollars for silver and 40percent silver halves. .i then sell them to a local dealer and enjoy the proceeds.

Did the 1939 plain date have a DDO? I stared at it and paused it to see if I could sense it.
