I remember the first time I ever had to actually modify the registry was back when EA released the EA desktop app. It was so broken that YOU COULDNT EVEN UNINSTALL IT because the uninstaller was broken… and get this, if you tried to delete the files yourself, it would just RESTORE itself afterwards! The only way I finally got it off my computer was to delete it in the registry… multiple times… until all entries from it were finally gone.
Idk what kind of virus programming EA put into that app, but it would not leave your computer no matter what you did.
