Alamire perform Byrd's The Great Service – Venite

'William Byrd: The Great Service & English Anthems' from Alamire, organist Stephen Farr, His Majestys Sagbutts & Cornetts and David Skinner has just been released by Inventa Records. We are pleased to present a video performance of the Venite from The Great Service, courtesy of Alamire.

The new recording commemorates the 100th anniversary of the modern premiere of the piece in 1924, and also completes Alamire and David Skinner's survey of Byrd's choral works.
