Greetings, all! Today I bring you a front brake job, this time on a Dodge Journey! This should also work for the Chrysler & Dodge Minivans, 2013 and newer. Yes, I know I did a brake job video on 4th gen minivans, but this video is for 5th gen minivans with the Pentastar V6.
This brake job has to be the most frustrating one I've EVER had to do. Not necessarily the fasteners giving me a hard time, let alone caliper removal, but finding the caliper! Tons of options for the small, single piston (BRF) Brakes, however if you got dual pistons like in this video (BRE), good luck. I did manage to score some at O'Reilly's; otherwise it's the dealer at like $188 per side, before core charge of $20 is deducted.
