Che bello quando gli " amici" sono veri* e si aiutano suonando, anche esibendosi in strada! La musica è musica ! Il Jazz è anche " improvvisazione ". Vedo che c' è una ragazza addetta allo strumento a fiato, brava a suonare la tromba. Pops is correct, as those of us who have been following Tuba Skinny for years and traveling to New Orleans to hear them both on Royal St. and in the clubs on Frenchmen Street know. They are world famous, having just completed a two month tour of Europe performing at the largest jazz festivals on the continent. Definitely not just any old street band.

That's not any old street band. It's Tuba Skinny, considered by many to be the greatest traditional jazz band on the planet. They are playing 'Chloe', composed in 1927 by Daniels & Kahn. The tune is on two of the nine albums the band has recorded - those called 'Tuba Skinny' and 'Blue Chime Stomp'. Also, the scene is certainly not Bourbon Street; it is Royal Street at the junction with St. Louis Street.
