Last season, everyone will say a sequence of Brentford, United, Bournemouth and Burnley (3 away games) will be a difficult start and now we got people are saying it is an easy start. Just take a game at a time and see where it takes us. People expectations and base for measurements are always changing but I agree that to base it on 4 games and raising all your expectations on that base is really not good for what we know is a rebuilt. Just hope no one will jump the gun and start the meaningless Ange out even IF we lose some matches. Enjoy the ride!

Son needs to be the 9 of this team. He is really good in terms of goal scoring.

dude, sonny can produce 30goals if playing central

I keep hearing or reading that Spurs had an easy start to the season, that these are games against easy opposition. But all summer I heard and read that Spurs aren’t a good team and are a relegation team, especially without Kane.

So they’re a relegation team, with an easy schedule, that was expected to win all of their games so far? Interesting..

3 away games and a home game against man utd, hardly a cake walk

We’ve played without Kane before and got through it. The UCL run to the final he missed some big games and we still got to the final. Obviously he’s a big player but the “Harry Kane Team” narrative is a bit boring now.

Four away games is always going to be tough. Not an easy start at all!!

It's weird but when he used to get an ankle injury every year they'd somehow play better, and had that UCL run to the final mostly without him too. He's a great player but not playing around him all the time benefits them

Szoboszlai has been phenomenal for Liverpool, but both Maddison and Ward-Prowse have been great for the money. It shows you don't need to spend too much.

As a Spurs fan, we can't get so worked up. He doesn't have to have a good FA Cup campaign, not yet. Yes people talking about top 4. . . .I just hope for good football, exciting football. There will be dips and down turns this season - if the loss is by a couple goals, and Spurs kept pressing like they believe they can come back - enough for me!

What people forget is Tottenham under attacking styles have never relied on Kane - under Poch they reached a champions league final without him and beat Real Madrid 3-1 with Kane not scoring or assisting any goals. Even now Tottenham have one of the highest amount of goals per game so far.

Tottenham have only ever seemed to rely on Kane because Mourinho and Conte's styles revolved around a couple of poached goals before defending.

For those criticising Ange's 9 changes for the League cup, he said himself he needed to give these guys game time to make his mind up on players...he had a transfer window closing with not many other options to play players...that team that was on the field were good enough to win that game despite the changes...Solomon was one player who had a poor game yet starred against Burnley...would you rather Ange made the changes in the League Cup or in the Premier League & dropped points there where points are so precious...Ange see's the bigger picture & the bigger prize & he will be thinking...without a doubt... that the team he is building WILL be good enough to win the Premier League…that will be his main focus...and three points dropped in the Premier League against going out in the League Cup, when that 3 points could mean the difference between winning or losing the title...In Ange We Trust...COYS!

As a spurs fan, after the preseason, I said we will finish top 4, but now, I know we will finish 1st or 2nd this season. This is Eito

I was saying for two years we needed rid of Kane to become a team. And your wrong about the easy start look at our past results against lower teams it's crap.
Kane was selfish he took over 65 plus direct free kicks and scored 1, its a happier dressing room without him.

Easiest starts! Brentford outside the top 6 is the hardest away game in the premier league. Man united universally seen as a team to get 2, 3, 4th in the league. Come on, the easiest do be brief. As well as three of their games have been away. ‘Who have they played’ very bizarre comment.

Come on guys... its also something to do with the terrible system we were playing last season. Son's been a consistent contributor for Spurs... he had a hernia last year.

We’ve just begun our journey with Ange at the helm so who can realistically expect us to be on par with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool at this stage, obviously am hoping we can keep this run going but realistically a top 6 finish and a strong FA cup run would constitute a good season, and then give ange more funds to strengthen the squad which still contains a lot of deadwood (Dier, Lloris etc) .

4 games in and Spurs wont miss Kanes 30 league goals. unreal.

People talk a lot about scoring goals but the other factor is having a decent CB partnership we did not have that last season, we can not replace Kane but we have improved other areas on the pitch !

Injuries are the major issue due to the thinness. The one spot we can really afford one is either Sarr or Bissouma since Bentancur is coming back
