Great walking video - thank you. My parents were born & grew up in Chernivtsi; moved to Canada in 1949. I was born in Canada and have yet to visit Chernivtsi hopefully in 2020/21. My heritage is the family of poet Olga Kobylansky (whom I'm named after). Must take a tour to honour her.

Chernivtsi was basically a jewish city before the second world war 45% percent of the population was jewish, now is 0.02, yet you didn’t even mention it in this video 🤷‍♂️ what happened?

My family is from chernivtsi and I can't wait to go meet them, I'm Canadian as is my dad but my baba was born back when it was supposedly a part of Austria, anyways none of that really matters to me now as my grandparents are long deceased. If in fact my family tree begins in this region it'll hold a special place in my heart for eternity hail ukransky 🇨🇦🇺🇦☦💪♥️
