Great review on the new Savage XL. I absolutely love the Savage range and would agree it's the best Nitro basher but I was disappointed by the new version. I bought the new Savage 4.6 when it was re released and that also has a lot of issues. I'm glad I kept my original Savage XL. 😊

Nice video friend. It's a shame the quality control ain't better. Fortunately I have only changed the spur gear in my 4.6. The F4.6 is a great engine so it's not a must to replace 🙂

I got mine in the mail last week from amain. Have not fired it up. Hopefully i will have good luck. Can't believe i spent 699.00 on a 20 year old truck.😅 actually it was on sale for 500 something. Still happy to have it. ❤

Problem is that because of certain youtubers, people now expect rc cars to launch off of 40ft jumps and be fine.

A comparable car to the savage is the hobao hyper mt, well built.

Common issues with the shorter version, a shame considering the price. Still a very fun truck if properly upgraded.
Wonder if hpi still making this truck and if so wich engine comes with as force ceased operations !
