Unfortunately you didnt get the full effect of the Launch Control. You just mashed the accelerator too quickly. Next time, give it just another 1/2 second, and then hit it. When its activated, the car will try to lunge forward, but the brakes will hold it and depending on how far down you press the accelerator, it will start to climb in RPM, depending also on how high you set your stall converter for (1200 rpm - 3300 rpm). Then when you let off the brake it will take off like a rocket. Less delay than you experienced. At least, that's what it all looked like from the video.
