BOSSA NOVA JAZZ | Blue Bossa | Kenny Dorham

This is an easy to intermediate level arrangement of the Bossa influenced Jazz Standard "Blue Bossa" for Solo Guitar.

Blue Bossa was first recorded on the debut album of famous jazz saxaphonist Joe Henderson in 1963. With its easy but catchy melody and the simple form it has since become one of the most played jazz standards. It is usually played in C-Minor and used as a vehicel for improvisations, but I found the chords and melody to be very suitable for a solo guitar arrangement in A-Minor.
In the Sheet Music you will find a complete version with Intro & Outro as I play it, as well as a simplified arrangement that might be even more suitable for guitarists that are new to this kind of guitar playing.
