Suppy Chain Management we all know in one of the most important aspects of business. Supply Chain Management it is believed that supply chain is one such area in the organization which can provide a lot of complete competitive advantages to a particular organization, supply chain is strategy planning and operations. The best definition I went through ever role of supply chain management is proper integration of demand and supply, In consumer example is you have to spend time looking at now your suppliers are communicating with partners . We want to build a trusting relationship to a partnership where you can both agreed upon basic standards of operations. In supply chain management of the flow of goods and services involved the movement and storage of raw materials of work in-process inventory, on the most basic level the purpose of supply chain management is to make inventory readily available in costumer facing position to fullfill demand .

Supply chain management is the management of a network, used to deliver products and services from raw materials into finished product and cash. It includes the movement and stores of new materials working in process to create a variety of products for the customer. To illustrate the supply chain management, it uses the three (3) entities which is the supplier, producer and customer who receive the final output of raw materials.Without these entities, the process will not going to be easy it needs deep understanding towards the flow of information of a business. Different strategies are being used in this .SCM enables companies to better manage demand, keep cost to minimum and control all flows of information of a business. Thus, the concept of supply chain management runs throughout the supplier, producer and customer back in fourth.

So Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the flow of goods from point of origin to point of consumption which means this strategy is efficient in business since it makes the distribution easier. So what makes the flow of SCM? These are Raw materials, producer, distributor, retailer, and customer.

Raw materials: are the materials being used by the seller to produced crafts and goods
Producer: this is the one who are making the products to sell to their valued customers
Distributor: The one who’s delivering the products to a retailer
Retailer: So this is a person/store that sells goods to the public in relatively small quantities for use or consumption rather than for resale
Customer: This is the final flow which means the product has reached into the customer who’s the consumer.

There are three strategies: Reactive, Stable, Efficient Reactive

There are also 4 flows in supply chains: Information Flows, Primary Cash, Primary Product Flow, and Reverse product Flow.

There are also two types of SCM: Vertical Integration and Lateral or Horizontal Integration

In conclusion, indeed Supply Chain Management helps a lot in business area and is so efficient. It also helps the manufacturer reach the product to its customer easily with the help of this strategy.

Supply Chain Management take much consideration to effectively understand and manage the processes. Even ensuring timely handoff from manufacturer to supplier to shipper to buyer is a massive task, but to do it cost effectively and build net value is truly a challenge. Talking about strategies it makes chain totally well managed. But, the author’s think and learning more on the benefits of the two integration, the value of vertical and horizontal is hard to justify, it almost makes more sense to outsource the well manage efficiency. When learning out of it, author’s state about the stages of supply chain evolution because through it all some companies sheltered from changes so they are less advanced, took some advantage changes and more advanced changes. We the listener understand the topics have been reported because the author represents a well explained presentation. Creating a growing edge between consumer’s expectations and the supply chain is the ability to deliver goods. As a result, supply chain management aids in the end to end process of the business and is indeed a backbone that supports major activities. Good supply chain management keeps companies out of the headlines and away from expensive recalls and the consumer can receive a good high quality product.

This video helped me understand what is supply chain management. I learned that supply chain management is the management of goods and services involved directly or indirectly in fulfilling customer requests (needs). I also learned that there are 3 supply chain management (stable, reactive, efficient). Four flows were distinguished in supply chain management: information flow, primary product flow, primary cash flow, and reverse product flow.
Very exciting course.

When I’ve read the words “Supply chain Management” what came up to my mind is that, it talks about the process of producing and distributing products to the market or how the supply was being made and distributed. What I’ve only knew is that, there are only two entity in supply chain management, the seller and the customer. As long as there is a producer and a customer, it made up the supply chain management. That’s is what I’ve thought before watching this video. This video helped me to deepen my knowledge and understanding about supply chain management. Now I know that there are three (3) basic of supply chain management which are, the seller/supplier, producer, and the customer. In supply chain, I realized that the seller must be first to recognize because without the seller, there would be no goods/products or service to produce, sell to the customer. Supply chain is also like a cycle of product and money as shown in the video how the primary information flow, primary cash flow, primary product flow, as well as the reverse product flow. This enable me to know that there are two types of supply chain management; Vertical Integration and Lateral or Horizontal Integration. Hence, I was able to analyzed which one is better, more essential, effective and excellent. I am very much convinced and impressed how the author presented this topic. He doesn’t just discuss the ideas, rather he very well illustrated it. The pictures helped me to easily understand the points of the author. I have nothing to argue with the author because I’ve learned a lot from it. Overall, I’ve learned that supply chain management is the management of the flow of not just the goods but also services which includes the movements and storage of the raw materials working across to producers to made up a product.
Thank you so much for the very informative and educative explanation of Supply Chain Management.

We all know that all materials that we've been using now is part of our lives and it is not useful when it's not totally done, and some of foods that we've eat is not edible when there is no having a proper procedure. That's why Supply Chain Management was the management that will help us to meet our expectations and demands. Supply Chain Management is the management of the flow of goods and services and includes all processes that transform raw materials into final products. It represents a conscious effort by the supply chain firms to develop and run supply chains in the most effective & efficient ways possible. The author successfully well narrate the topic by describing an extended approach to supply chain management by exploring some of the more prevalent definitions. Supply Chain Management is becoming the next league drive for improving the performance of organizations.

The Supply Chain Management (SCM), is the management of the flow of goods and services that involves movement and storage of raw materials, of work-in-progress inventory of unfinished goods from point of origin to point of consumption. Although it has the same goals as supply chain engineering, supply chain management is focused on a more traditional management and business based approach, whereas supply chain engineering is focused on a mathematical model based one. In the video I noticed a flaw the author mentioned about. The video is of good quality yet the first sentence was actually misleading because a supply is not a "global network". In recent years, Supply Chain Management has gained greater attention from academics and managers concerned to improve process efficiencies; and take best advantage of information technology and inter-organizational networks and relationships. And this is also one thing the author did not clearly state. But generally, SCM is a great way to acknowledge the importance of business such that it helps creating stronger companies for the world.
