Google Shopping product reviews are also Google Shopping ratings. These are the review stars that show up on your Google Shopping Ads. They improve your click-through rate, help your ads stand out compared to competitors, and give you an extra edge for performance.

Before your reviews could start showing up on your ads, you need to go over the process below:
1. Get approved for reviews
2. Create your reviews feed
3. Add reviews feed to Google Merchant Center
4. Wait for approval

Step 1: Enable the Product Ratings Program and get approved

You’ll know you need to do this if you don’t see the “Product Reviews” menu item on the left-hand side of your Google Merchant Center account. So follow the process I did in this video to enable it.

After a few days, you’ll receive an email from Google confirming you can enter the program. Then, you should see “Product Reviews” on the left-hand side of the Google Merchant Center menu.

Step 2: Create your Google product review feed
There are 2 main ways to set your Google Shopping reviews feed:

1. Googles free setup process

Step 3: Add Google Shopping reviews feed to Merchant Center

Step 4: Wait for approval

You’ll then need to wait until Google manually reviews the feed. This can sometimes happen quickly but can take up to 2 to 4 weeks.

Once this review process is finished, you’ll receive an email from Google and our reviews will then show up on our Google Shopping ads.

Hi, thanks for video, this is what we were looking for. Unfortunately we do not have GTIN nor MPN. We talked to Judge me and they confirmed that they actively substitute SKU with the MPN. Do you know if this is ok / can cause issues? besides that we followed your video, and on the set-up side all lloks good but ratings are still not shown, any idea why or how to go about it?

Hi Sam, will my reviews be rejected if I submit them and some of them have the same emails? In the beginning stages of the business i uploaded like 30-50 fake reviews under the same email to my site so it can pop up as verified. Will google be able to see this? should I go back and delete those?

Hello, Sam Great Video, i followed all the steps however after i added the File name and the XML URL for the scheduled fetches in the Reviews Feed. i clicked Crere feed but i got this RED ERROR (You have reached your feed limit.).
Bearing in mind i only have 12 proructs on my merchant center.
