Najeela is in a weird spot because she wins in spite of herself she herself wants to be built as an attack deck and is very good at that so you have to respect that but the meta doesn’t really jell with her stats anymore (since the average creature is stronger now) so you have to respect the fact that she is a 5 color commander that runs 5 color great stuff despite being “worse” than kenrith so it creates the dichotomy for opponents of which part do I attack because I can’t really do both it’s more one or the other. Which probably contributes to her insane strength as a commander.

I think something that a lot of people forget about when playing Najeela, is when Derevi enters the battlefield you can use the trigger to tap down an opponents creature making it easier to get in.

Najeela is a distraction that can win by herself in stacked boards. A solid backup plan for a 5C good stuff deck with tons of others win cons. Still the deck I get most wins with

you could have all kinds of fancy "backup" strats and other such cards the thing that makes Najeela powerful is the fact that you can not only survive a board wipe but be the one who benefits the most from a board wipe. Najeela is powerful BECAUSE it's "backup plan" is "aggro" and for as dumb as that seems there's a reason she's still at the top and aggro (especially with the ability to just go into extra combats) is the most basic way to take opponents out of the game. You can't do that with Thrassios, or Tymna. However, this was also why i honestly thought Kenrith was going to take over, and for as powerful as he is it seems no one's picking him up or can't figure out how to use him.

Najeela was the best cedh commander for a few years and now you can’t get through easy enough. Might as well play a 5 color commander that helps you progress like kenrith.

With good pilots around she's definitely in Top 3 best Commanders. I don't play it but have play tested it on Moxfield and the amount of explosive hands you get are baffling. Just mulligan correctly and good things happen more often.

the thing is she doesn’t need to attack to win. I’ll do it, draw some cards or gain some life from it, and then I’ll just win with Thoracle or Breach when you’ve wasted your resources on her

Whats the point of giving the haste ability when you are untapping attackers? It makes no sense an attacking creature wouldn't be able to use haste as they are already able to attack. Seems redundant.

Najeela and blue farm to the moon! If you can’t build up a board state of tokens you pivot to intuition breach lines or fish combos or ad nauseum. If you dislike Najeela and her play style your just bad at the game
