These vista points are way too finicky

I think they do a good enough job telegraphing where you have to stand and it is fun to search for actual landmarks, but when you have to be on the right pixel when already in said spot, that's too much. They should just auto-collect it when you get into a certain radius of the point. It has no reason to be this finicky and precise.

Thanks for this!! After 15 minutes of trying I just “couldn’t find the right spot”. Been where you stand but guess I just didn’t wait long enough. Most irritating task. Nice game though!

Oh my god... I've been standing in that exact spot and trying for lile 20 minutes and nothing happened so I looked for a video only to find out I was right all along... and one of the stupid Sunwings here is broken. It died but came back to life and has an empty health bar and doesn't die again even if I remove components and hit weak spots infinite times.

This vista point is rediculous. When you align, you have to align the left hologram to the right tower. Extremely in unintuitative.

Guys make sure you don't make the same mistake I did. I was having trouble when this to until I realized I was in the wrong spot that looks similar to where you need to be. The spot with the datapoint scan is the wrong spot, but over to the right up a little between the 2 broken gates is where you need to go, then it worked instantly

After 45 minutes of hearing "Maybe I'm not high enough", "Maybe I'm too high" and "Almost got it..." I decided to throw in the towel and YouTube this Vista point. Turns out I DID ALMOST HAVE IT! I just needed to move 1 megapixel to the right and half a megapixel down 🤣 F my life....

Her talking is what threw me off.. I'm standing in correct spot and Aloy's like "maybe I'm not high enough".. No Aloy, maybe IM NOT HIGH ENOUGH.

For all those on the verge of losing their sanity on this point, firstly there is a rebel camp nearby, you have to complete it before otherwise the Vista point solution will not trigger, then move millimeter to millimeter till the game is satisfied and the solution completed. Horizon Zero Dawn was a fun game in every possible way, in the sequel Forbidden West the players are slaves to the game, having to please the game's developers by guessing the unique way to do it!

This does work and isn't glitched, you just need to move around slowly. If the hologram won't show, move back and too the left, then press R3 again.

I was in the right spot just couldnt get it. Even being in the exact spot you posted it still took a bit i thought it was broken. Sucks you have to be pixel perfect to get it to trigger
