I have five focus elastica and every spring I take them outside to sit under my awning of my backyard (west facing) and they thrive. In fact, this year alone, after putting them outside they shot up about six inches. I bring them in during late fall since we’ve had warm falls lately. And they go out as soon as temps stay above 55*F here. Haven’t had a single problem yet. 🤷‍♀️

I love my ficus plants and most of them are doing well. What l needed to know mostly is the correct potting medium to put them in, and you have explained that well.
I started with 2 of the large leafed green rubber plants, and have added 2 each of Ruby ones and 2 of Black Knight ones.

I have a leaf of this plant that actually came from my great grandfathers house and it has grown roots but I don’t think it has any nodes to facilitate stem and foliage growth unfortunately.
