Marcus Garvey Speech

Great speech on his part. Unfortunately, today Black people would boo Marcus Garvey right off stage, as the crowd chanted "Hands up, don't shoot"  "Black lives matter" and any other hollow catch phrase. He was, outside of  Khalid Muhammad and Malcolm X , one of the last major speakers and thinkers that was about Black people reconnecting themselves to their roots and building themselves up as a race and people. But Black people ain't trying to hear that today, and the 'system' isn't as well. Hence the reason why it's 'kosher' to push MLK's integration approach, and not Garvey's: "be proud, stop begging, and do for yourself" approach. I don't know, maybe Garvey had too much faith in his people?
