I think both cases for the Raspberry Pi 4 are amazing but I personally like the Retroflag NESPI 4 better. Great Video!

Love your setup you had loaded on it. Just got this exact case but new to Raspberry Pi. Couple years ago when we got the Retrocade you hooked us up with the perfect load for our SD card. Would love a suggestion for the best place to find that for the Pi.

Great comparison. I was able to your argon setup / with the fam but it was pre-Covid. Temp is everything, I was tempted to get the NES case but now it’s more of a gift vs must have or need to have. I am also tempted to put holes in argon case, so I don’t have to take the top off. I might check a video or two on that.

I noticed you put the pads for heat syncs in wrong positions, the left next to pi symbol is wrong. That could be why your temp is off. This should help your heat issue.

This is a pretty convenient video! I'm waiting for a NESPi 4 case to arrive in the mail, with which I'm going to change from the Argon Neo. I love the Neo, but had the NESPi been available when I bought the Neo I'd have gotten it instead.

I wonder how much temp difference it will be on the NESpi 4 with thermal paste?
I have the Argon Neo with fan hat using thermal paste and fan set to go 25% at 45C with 10C & 15C increment till fan reach 100% (0% at below 45C) and compare to others who opt for thermal pads. I got fluxing between 30c and 45c with 2.1Ghz overclock. (the fan hat brings down the temp quick). in a room temp of 80F (26.67C).

Bought the Nespi 4. Sadly you cannot boot off the SSD cartridge without some major workarounds. Even though there is a fan inside, it still gets really hot in the case.
