Iran could strike Israel on Monday, US and Israeli officials expect, Axios writes.

“Three US and Israeli officials said they expect an Iranian attack on Israel as early as Monday,” the report says.

It is also reported that a high-ranking American general in charge of US troops in the region has arrived in the Middle East.

The commander of the US Armed Forces Central Command (CENTCOM), General Michael E. Kurilla, arrived in the Middle East region on August 3 amid US and allied preparations for a possible Iranian attack on Israel, which the country may carry out soon, the Axios news outlet reported, citing sources.

Michael Kurilla is expected to use the trip to "try to mobilize the same international coalition" that came out in support of Israel in April.
