Sorcerer's Apprentice - Music with Ms. Healy

"The Sorcerer's Apprentice" first appeared as a poem written by German writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe in 1797. One hundred years later, in 1897, French composer Paul Dukas wrote music of the same name to tell the story. Then, in 1940, Walt Disney created an animated story to go along with the music.

In at least one version of this story, when the brooms and the water disappear except the original one, the sorcerer fixes it so that he is the only one who can put a spell on it!
