How to Make Popsicle Stick House for Chinchilla

In this video I show you how to make a popsicle stick house for Chinchilla, hamster, guinea pig, even a rat! For this house I used nearly 1600 popsicle sticks and over 75 hot glue gun sticks of glue. This 3 story tall monstrosity is the biggest popsicle stick house for pet on YouTube by far !

Very lovely house. I’m in the process of nearly finishing the popsicle stick house from the Vanilla hamster house tutorial video and although it’s taking long and can be hard at times I want to start on another popsicle house for my hamster. Sort of want to make him a whole village of houses and this structure is on that list. Thanks for sharing!

I absolutely cannot stress this enough, DO NOT USE HOT GLUE FOR YOUR PETS HOUSES OR TOYS OR ANYTHING THAT THEY COULD POSSIBLY CHEW ON. It’s toxic and will cause blockage and both of those outcomes are deadly!! Use PVA glue (or non toxic kids glue). Please be safe and smart while constructing for your animals, hot glue is faster to use but deadly. Just be patient and use pva glue, YOUR ANIMALS AND WALLETS WILL THANK YOU! The vet services for removal of hot glue are not cheap whatever!

Awesome and beautiful creation, but that won't last, chinchillas are rodents. Only a single 1 can destroy it in 2 weeks. The wood is very thin and the glue can be toxic for them.
