I loved the Su-17 so I'm looking forward to getting the 22. I personally like to create lineups based on themes instead of BR sometimes so I have a Syrian lineup and a modern Syrian civil war with Russian and Syrian themed tank. But I do agree with the camos hopefully well get a modern Syrian camo for it or some other air force camo

Just one little gripe, the Su-22 is not the best ground pounder for Russia atm. The Mig-27K is leagues ahead of the Su-22 due to its newer optics for guiding its ordnance being similar to the Jaguar A giving you tracking and zoom letting you guide the KH25ML from altitudes that SAMs cannot engage you and if they do its easy to dodge them due to the nerfs to SAMs.

There is one advantage with this plane people forget about. To increase your chances of survival and overall performance, play Allah Syria Al Bashar. Helps evertime. You are untouchable then

honestly the Su-24M in my opinion wouldve been a better choice to add into that game rather than the Mig-27K, plus it would've had 11.3 material considering its weaponry is essentially an amalgamation of the Mig-27M and Su-22M3, and its faster and brings a quite chunky radar, and of course this could be paired with the F-111 in an update. just hoping we see it sometime in the future

Was grinding the SU-17 as i, m stuck at 9.3 air for my soviets but have top teir russian ground ..when they released this I was giddy as hell .Will research it down to the minimum GE buyout then get it for GE and unlock a few mods and go Air RB to ground it out via ground pounding but so looking forward to using this beast in ground RB.

9:18 Don't get me as rude, but that is quite misleading. Sure you can control the sweep as you will, but it's far better to leave it on auto as the computer is quite reliable. In practice, it will find an optimal angle based on your speed, wether you are iniciating a turn or disengaging; and also you will not have to worry about another key to press everytime you want to move the wings.

Plus, flying at the wrong sweep angle just because you think it's suitable will cripple your flight performance in a way or another. To sum up, just leave it on auto all time, and only manually adjust the wings fully out when landing or turnfighting. The wings on 0% will be able to drop the flaps.

I also recommend going to -> _Wing Sweep_ -> _Relative Control [Yes]_ . This will prevent the wings coming to 50% no matter what you do in manual mode. And put the sensibility all the way to 100%.

For me this thing does pretty great with air RB ground pounding with the 8 bombs and 2 r60s
Set the bomb series to 4 and drop 1 series (4 bombs) on a base which will fully destroy it snd then go for a second base and then RTB for more bombs or try and shoot players down

I'm personnaly working on my top tier line up to take both the MiG-27M and the Su-22M3, why chose when you can use them both since they are in different class of aircraft for gaijin )))

I'm currently 21K away from it. Also, watching you drop all eight of those bombs on that one base was kind of cringe it only takes four of those 500 kg bombs to kill it. Other than that excellent video keep up the good work.

Interesting enough is that a su 22 it is generally recommended to use manual wing control bc it’s sloppy, but when flying a mig 23 it is recommended to generally leave it on automatic unless it’s a dogfight.

I'm interested in the comment about always using manual wing sweep; Especially as a recommendation for newer players, since a lot of the time (this coming largely from my experience flying the MiG-23M) the flight model tends to suffer if you're in slightly the wrong sweep angle and it can make energy retention significantly worse by trying to manage it manually in general. Obviously, when going into combat switching to manual and forcing the wings to be straight will get you the extra turning capability you need there, however my general experience is that this is the only time the flight performance is improved by not just leaving the wings in semi-auto mode.

No hate intended of course, enjoyed the video, would just like to start a discussion about that <3
