That old man is a good actor! I could really feel the mixed feelings he's experiencing

Trigeminal neuralgia is taught in first year nursing and medical school. You would fail the board exams in your exams if this was not on your differential.

I have not 1, not 2, but 3 invisible diseases. Looking at me, you'd never know it. But my normal baseline pain on a 24/7/365 is a six. If I sleep, move, hell sneeze wrong, it's an 8. It's been about 27ish years since I was completely pain free.
I probably would have punched my own ticket awhile ago if I wasn't a mom. But I am and their happiness and peace is so much more important than my pain. I probably wouldn't even believe a doctor if they told me they could fix me 😂

I understand him, I've been having migraines for years and it's always been over a 6

for 7 years my pain has been so bad I did not realize I had a 10cm kidney stone blockage. I did not feel the pain from breaking my finger, my head always hurts.

You know what I hate the most is people telling me how I should feel, that my pain is manageable. You don't know what chronic pain is until you go through it yourself. Especially when it is an autoimmune deficiency. Three bulging discs at the end of your spine and your main nerve down your spine is permanently damaged.

My base pain stays at four most days. I can’t imagine an 8 for 7 whole years. I’d’ve lost my mind long before then
