Mw3 obviously has better graphics but I like the more rugged, battle damaged look from 2009. Mw3 looks way too clean and polished to be a battle zone

Although the layout is the same, the feel changed completely. It went from feeling like the end of the world type of scenery that was common in the 2000's with it's grittiness and edgy look, to a more realistic, colorful and modern look. And with that, took a lot of the character that the original used to have

its more about the immersion that creates the idea that the old version looks better. I think thats the main reason why many prefer the old versions. The grittiness of the original maps made it feel like a real shooter. The saturated cartoonish look of the newer cod’s loses all sense of that

I don't like MW III, but can appreciate them keeping the "glitch" spots in like the roof, and the ability to get on the crane. The OG will never be beaten.

Man they should’ve made the maps more rough and dark, but knowing people today they would bitch about lighting.

The older cod was better but I like the reboot of mw3.

the mw2 intro "Rangers lead the way" is so sick man. truly miss that.

Idk why but every modern call of duty from bo3 looks sort of cartoony, it looks like some free to play FPS game on steam. Original mw series, waw, black ops 1 are darker, grittier, it looks like youre fighting in a war and not playing paintball/softair with friends
