This song was written and sang by Elizabeth Fraser (formerly of Cocteau Twins, my favorite band), and was essentially about her reaction to Jeff Buckley's (her former lover) death.

i think one of the things that will always make me come back no matter how long i go without watching is knowing that no matter what trendy or sponsored things they do its always towards the goal of exploring their own artistry and uplifting other artists while doing so. theres an artistic integrity that i see in dan n arin thats rare to see, especially in such a vapid industry and it makes me glad to have followed their various works for over a decade now

I wasn't sure how Dan would tackle Massive Attack's sense of otherworldly lyrics and singing style, and while it's missing some of that ethereal wisp, it absolutely stands firm as its own rendition thanks to his harmonics and the Super Guitar Bros. leaning into the stark, deep pulse of the tune. Outstanding.
