I feel like they're building up towards an emotional breakdown between Wilhelm and his mother, with him screaming at her that he isn't Erik, he can never be Erik and nothing will ever make Erik's death make sense but she still has him and that should be enough and she should help him prove that being himself is good enough and he can do a better job as Crown Prince by being himself and having real love in his life.

I wonder if the new hair is actually meant to make Wilhelm look more like Erik, because he can't be himself anymore but is basically Erik's replacement for his mother, for the monarchy and for his country ☹️

I wonder what Sara has gotten herself into. Also wonderful to see Felice not worrying about her hair and just letting it be curly. I love seeing Wille and Simon sat together. Maybe they'll be tentative friends for at least the start of the season? Maybe Wille trying to win Simon's good favour again? Also, maybe Wille is coming for August's captain of the rowing team position? I'm so looking forward to November

I'm glad Wilhelm seems to really have a close friendship with Felice now, since he has no friends that aren't connected to either August or Simon so he basically has none at all 😢

i’m looking forward to seeing wille and felice getting closer. wille could use a real friend to have his back. i also hope he is able to defend himself against his mother so she realises he is his own person and not eric, but also that their relationship can be more loving

I LOVE THE SHOW. It's so wonderful to see those pics but they seem to show somewhat sad moments...(not sure if I used a good word ).. I also appreciate the realistic side to the series, of course.I guess my reaction only goes to show the complexity of the issues tackled ....Trully great show. Can't speculate much about the plot though....there is too little variety of these pics.

I’m afraid we’ll have a long season with wille trying to reconnect with Simon but just as friends cause of wille’s family but Simon will never want and maybe an hope of come back together just at the end of the saison. I think it’ll be a very frustrating season if we want a season 3 😩😩😩 btw I just wanna see them interacting ❤️ can’t wait

Since the YR costume designer said that she uses color to tell the story, the use of green is interesting here. Both Wilhelm and Simon wear green in some of the pics. Wilhelm wore green when he texted with Simon about the football game and in the fish scene. Green is the color of growth, renewal and hope, the color of spring. Season 2 also happens to be the spring semester. Green is the result of blue (Wille) and yellow (Simon) and has traits of both colours, it's both relaxing and energizing. Simon wears his green jacket that he wore when he bonded with Wille (local football game, motorcycles, football field, lake scene). (In the breakup scene and final scene of season 1 he wore his grey jacket)
