Imagine they bring PS5 games over to PS Now. That means it would be possible to play PS5 games on the PS4!

Does this technically confirm there will be no backwards compatibility with ps5?

I know this is a simple question. But the games that already existed on ps now will remain in. Am I right?

Ps now needs to go away. Streaming games is just terrible. 99.99% of people would much rather pay for a game than stream it because most people dont have the constant connection speed it requires. At least with xbox game pass, you can download the whole game. I have multiple consoles from nintendo, xbox and playstation so I dont prefer on console over another but xbox definitely has the superior on line service. I'm not just talking about multiplayer either. Xbox live gold gives you multiple free games a month that are yours forever. Even if you choose to not pay for gold anymore. Ps plus on the other hand also gives you free games but cuts you off once you stop paying for ps plus. Also again xbox game pass VS. Ps now. Xbox gives you the ability to fully download any game in the game pass library. You dont need a constant and constant internet connection just to play. With the ps4 you got a few ps2 games that were available to buy but they never put any ps3 games on the playstation store to buy. Just to stream with ps now. If people would stop being so desperate to play older games and refuse to pay for ps now, sony would finally get that its something the majority of gamers dont care about or want. Nintendo seems to be going this direction too with access to classic games only available as streaming games and part of their online subscription service, instead of virtual console games that you can buy and download. Streaming movies is fine because it doesn't require nearly as fast of a connection or amount of data as games do. Most people are on plans with very low data caps anyway while only about 10% or less of gamers are willing or able to pay outrageous prices for unlimited data. These executives at game companies that decided that subscriptions and limiting content to streaming is a good idea, make 20x what the average consumer earns at their jobs. It almost seems like they dont think about that or they are just buisness people and dont actually play games at all. (Some people that work at game companies actually arent into games at all and it's just a high paying job to them.) I myself would rather pay for the same game on multiple generations of systems than pay a subscription just to be able to play it. Because even if it did work better than it does, I want to be able to play my game when the servers eventually shut down years from now and I dont want to spend more on a subscription service than I would just buying the few games that I would ever play on that service. Most of the games on these services, I dont even care about, but there are a few older ones that I would love to buy and play again on my current consoles. Like the infamous games for ps3. Many of us still have our physical copies of games and the consoles that they are on but would prefer to be able to play them on current generation consoles so we can downsize our console collection and maybe get a little money out of them for new games or even digital copies of old games on the new system. So anyway, locking games down to a subscription and streaming service is just terrible.
