Weighing in at just 106.25kg in the 120kg class, Bobb Matthews won the title at Powerlifting America Nationals this week. This ties the IPF world record, also 978.5kg, held by Dennis Cornelius in 2016 - one of the oldest standing IPF world records. Watch all nine of his lifts, as well as an exclusive interview with Bobb hosted by King of the Lifts host, Ryan Lapadat, where we talk about his rivalry with Rondel Hunte and Ashton Rouska, his thoughts on the day, and his goals for Worlds and Sheffield.

He should 100% drop to the 105kg class for Sheffield and face off against Ashton. They can both obliterate the 105kg world record, but the % to beat the 120kg record is way tougher. Love his vibe too.
