1987 my best friends and I put on the makeup and performed kiss at our local high school. It was an air band competition, we brought Amps and nobody questioned it. Soon as the curtain open we started playing before they could start the music for us to "air band" along with.
Kids went crazy loving it and the school let us continue to play.
That would eventually turn in to the kiss tribute band known as Strutter.
