I’m feeling like George Russell has a great future in F1 beyond just winning the championship. Perhaps as a higher-up in F1 management or even F1 director someday. What he’s done at Williams shouldn’t be overlooked - he took a back-marker team and brought it to a level to qualify 2nd at Spa between Verstappen and Hamilton in less than three years! That’s truly some top level talent right there!

As much as I like Valtteri and wanted him to continue, I think George deserves it after 3 years at the back end of the grid. Bottas spent 4 seasons at Williams before joining Merc but in the last 3 he had an actual competitive car and grabbed some podiums, George wasn't so fortunate
