Before the season I said hms would win 15+ races and I was concerned to start the season but now it's looking like it's a strong possibility

They're about equal to be honest. They have different skillsets that balance each other out. Larson is better than Elliott at intermediates, but Elliott is better than Larson at plate tracks, short tracks, and road courses. Both of what I just mentioned make up about half the schedule, so they're basically equal.

I feel they’re about equal. Larson and the 5 team seem to be better at those intermediates, while Alan Gustafson seems to prepare better cars on the short tracks+road courses, which allows Chase to be better at those.

EASILY kyle larson. He wins in everything he races. Took a year off and is 2nd in driver points and 1st in playoff points with 2 wins. No question he will lead HMS untill he retires

Elliot is the man there. But Larson is definitely making a run at it. Which actually should fuel their performance for years to come. On equal equipment. I’d pick Elliot to get it done in the clutch.

Elliot will always be the top because he's free money. He has a bunch of sponsors and a bunch of fans but there is no argument Larson is not only better but one of the best drivers in the whole field. He's right with Kyle Busch or Kevin Harvick
