Making a leather knife sheath (cross draw) /Lederscheide Messer

In diesem Video zeige ich euch, wie ich eine Lederscheide für das Messer mache, das ich im letzten Video gebaut habe.
Falls euch etwas in dem Video aufällt, was ihr nicht nachvollziehen könnt, dann könnt ihr das gerne in die Kommentare schreiben, damit ich darauf antworten kann. Ich würde mich aber nicht als Experte auf diesem Gebiet bezeichnen, es ist auch für mich die erste Lederscheide mit Punzierarbeiten, von daher dürft ihr auch etwas schreiben, was ich besser machen kann. ;-)

This was a very satisfying video. Watching the whole process. Leather working was a hobby of mine when I was younger. I got pretty good at it, and it was a satisfying hobby. To be able to build something beautiful and useful, at the same time, with your own hands. 👍 I may take it up again.

Great looking product, just 1 item to critique - don't use metal hammer on stiching forks because it will mushroom the top and cause burrs that will cut you or break off and could get in eyes. But other than that great work.

How is your leather so smooth when you’re punching the sew holes? When I do it, I I have to pry it back out of the leather and it pulls the leather up and warps it.

how did you get your stitches to line up when you added the belt loop? i don't think i could ever do that unless i just drilled new holes for the stitching
