Organic Soybeans into Rye Test Plot Results

I finally had some time to do some editing!
We had 4 trials.
Rye was planted across the whole field after chopping corn in fall of 2021.
On half of the field the rye was baled the field was tilled. On half of the field we left the rye standing and planted directly into it.
Each half had one section that was drilled at 7.5in and one section that was planted at 30in.
On the areas that had standing rye we tried to harvest the rye mid July.

This was a single year, non-replicated trial, so these are not "scientific" results, but gave us a feel for how each system could function if taken to a larger scale.

Results:
No-tilled into Rye, 7.5in = 65bu/ac
No-tilled into rye, 30in = 47bu/ac
Tilled, 30in = 71bu/ac
Tilled, 7.5in = 53bu/ac

Thank you for taking the time to do that, very interesting. A few questions that may help to represent different parameters farmers may be interested in. Although I can see it's not replicated and it's a first try, some conversion into net income may be good.
Value of the bales, rye and beans from each plot, then value of work not done in min till plots. Each plot is a different system and should be presented as such, as you've done with bean yield, but $ value would be great also. Thanks again

Would you be willing to give more details? Where are you located? What state, what type of land? What soil type? In the tilled soil, you rotary hoed and cultivated, with no spray? Thank you!

Have you ever considered zapping the rye to kill it, then no till In the beans? Benefit : planting earlier vs. having to wait later for rye to mature correctly to be able to kill it - ( roller crimper method )
