Qatar Airways Trip Report flying from Dubai to London (via Doha) onboard a Qatar Airways A380 and a Boeing 787 on a lovely winter day.
A very comfortable flight from Dubai to London onboard the Qatar Airways B787 and A380. We had a 2-hour layover at Doha-Hamad airport, more than enough for a comfortable and calm connection to London.
It was some time since the last time I was at Dubai Terminal 2 so I was really lookinh forward to see it again. After some exploration and planespotting, we boarded the Qatar Airways Boeing 787 that would take us to Doha.
It was a pretty fast flight, we took of from Dubai towards north, enjoying some amazing night views of Dubai downtown and the port. We flew in direct course to Doha across the Persian Gulf, where we landed, just on time, after nice night approach.
The transfer in Doha was really easy at Doha airport. Just around 10-15 min queue for security control (several flights arrived at the same time) and we were already in the boarding gates area.
We boarded the Airbus A380 that wpuld take us to London and made the pusback on time. We took off northbound and started to fly over the Gulf heading to Kuwait. From there we crossed all Iraq and entered Turkiye.
We overflew the Black Sea and entered Bulgaria. From there ww flew over Serbua, Hungary, Austria, Germany, The Netherlands and, finally, we reached the UK. We landed at Heathrow airport on time, after a typical long approach to Heathrow.
About the catering service: it was amazing on both flights. On the first one they offered some kind of continental breakfast (including a warm croissant). On the second one, they offered a full breakfast service and a warm snack. Everything was extremely tasty, however, I must give an espcial mention to the chocolate dessert of the breakfast: OMG! Above excellent. Incredible.
Now it's your turn!
Have you ever flown with Qatar Airways? Which route? How was the experience? Have you ever flown on the Airbus A380? What do you think about the Qatar Airways service? Have you ever been in London? Maybe in Doha or Dubai?
Lots of things to talk about! See you all in the comments!
