It is nice that USB doesn't have a licensing fee or royalty. Maybe there is one to use the logos but none to have just include it in a device. Of there was a licensing fee or royalty it probably would have been just another technology that we forget about and it never catches on. Honestly, how many good technologies were hindered from being widespread, popular and successful by royalties and licensing fees? That was nearly the death of Thunderbolt too!!!!

Congatulatios Ajay. I'm a pensioner, I already own about six devices that would have many years service if not for your connector, this is probably the worst case of planned obsolescence in history. It's used where it is unnecessary and is the opposite of robust and hardwearing, years ago electrical connectors outlived the appliance, now thanks to Ajay, there will be billions of electrical items that never have a long useful life. I'm old and have at least six useless items, how many will young people end up with?
