Thank you to the CBC for releasing the election day coverage in its entirety. I was watching that evening and it was a master class in Canadian politics and history. Also as an American (of considerable Canadian descent), it's nice to see a group of such respectful and well-informed pundits and panelists. What a remarkable (and sobering) contrast with the insane clown posse we're fostering down here.

Ten hours! Could you imagine CTV or Global doing the same thing? I don't think Bell and Shaw care enough about the consumer to upload live, uninterrupted coverage on Youtube. The commercial channels (at least in the western time zone) actually broke for regular primetime programming on Monday.

What's worse is Bell or Shaw would probably take down any user-uploaded videos of election coverage!
